East Coast Customers:
Marine Computer Systems specializes in custom computer based systems for pleasure craft and commercial vessels They are a full service company covering all aspects of computer systems from conception and design to installation and training.
Founded with a mission to provide mariners with accurate, unbiased advice about on-board computer systems, Marine Computer Systems is committed to ensuring clients are knowledgeable and comfortable with their vessel's system.
Jeppesen Marine seminars provide a full day (7 to 8 hours) which starts with the basics (how to move around within the program) and progresses to more advanced topics (integration with instruments, weather overlays, and such) MCS focuses on Admiral MAX Pro and VNS MAX Pro, and demonstrate and teach you how they integrate with InSight Radar, Bathy Recorder, Insight Sounder, and Plus Packs.

$495 for 2-days session (per person): Marine Computer Systems also offers an optional second day which focuses on offshore communications (SSB, satellite communications, DSC, and distress calling).

For our west coast Jeppesen Marine customers, On Water Training provides customized training courses designed to fit your needs. You will be provided one-on-one training with Bob Meng, who will travel onboard your boat to work with directly with you to learn Nobeltec Navigation Software.

Training Excursions from Washington to Alaska
Captain Jim Kyle, Home Shore
Sign on Home Shore’s Inside Passage Training Cruise to learn Nobeltec Navigation Software while underway to Alaska in the world’s most spectacular classroom. Home Shore is a classic 62 ft. wooden commercial vessel, owned by Captain Jim Kyle, a veteran of four decades of Inside Passage travel. You will have formal Nobeltec Navigation Software instruction at a second computer station plus hands-on helm experience with navigation computer, radar, autopilot, and all other tools and techniques of safe passage making.
Training Cruises between Washington and Alaska are eight to twelve days, with nightly rest stops in villages or pristine anchorages in British Columbia. Three guest staterooms house six guests, with a crew of three including a knowledgeable mate and a woman chef assisting Captain Kyle.
