Jeppesen Marine proudly introduces the Windvantage™ Weather Router feature to the popular Sailing Plus Pack.*
This feature relies on the Route Wizard to make calculations based on the boat’s performance characteristics (which are stored in the polar files) and a GRIB weather file. The software then creates a recommendation for the best possible route.
Windvantage Weather Router complements the comprehensive feature pack, containing key cruising and performance tools that will undoubtedly improve your sailing skills. Sailing Plus Pack delivers the right information – when you need it.
Incoming wind and sailing data, whether delivered via Ockam®; B&G®, or strictly from NMEA input, is used to create a total awareness in your Nobeltec display. Import or create a polar file and watch it instantly update with actual on-water data. Next, display on-screen indicators, such as laylines, reverse laylines, and over-the-chart wind indicators. Then display polar targets and actuals as a real number or percentages for instant performance verification. You can also measure data and performance using analysis tools that are built into Nobeltec’s exclusive Strip Chart technology.

PLEASE NOTE: No prior versions have been tested or approved for Microsoft Vista. At present time, some optional 3rd party applications or drivers included with Nobeltec Navigation Software do not operate under Vista. Jeppesen Marine is researching these outstanding issues with our partner companies, working to verify Vista compliance. We will notify users as more information becomes available. Here are some specific notes on Vista support:
- Installation of v9.1 from Jeppesen CDs is required. Upgrades from prior versions do not include changes required for Vista support. (In other words, the downloaded patch to v9.1 does not include Vista support changes. Registered v9 customers may purchase the v9.1 CD from the Jeppesen Marine Sales Department)
- Only clean/new installations of 32-bit Vista are supported; upgrades from prior Operating Systems are not.
- SkyMate "Connect Window" not supported under Vista at this time.
- The version of OCENS WeatherNet installer shipping with Admiral or Admiral MAX Pro is not Vista compatible; check at www.ocens.com for an updated installer
- The InSight Radar Black Box (IR2-BB) drivers are supported only for Windows XP and 2000 at this time.
- Sea Level drivers for Vista are available at the Sealevel.com website: www.sealevel.com

Bathy Recorder™ Plus Pack

Weather Plus Pack™

Raster Plus Pack™
Raster Plus Pack* allows you to upgrade to Admiral MAX Pro and VNS MAX Pro while keeping many of the same features you’ve come to rely on in previous versions of Nobeltec Navigation Software. These features include support for Maptech/BSB data (version 2-5), NOSGeo data, Maptech perspective photos and other Nav data formats. In short, you’ll stay in your comfort zone with Raster Plus Pack while taking advantage of the new features in Admiral MAX Pro or VNS MAX Pro.

Training Excursions from Washington to Alaska
Captain Jim Kyle, Home Shore
Sign on Home Shore’s Inside Passage Training Cruise to learn Nobeltec Navigation Software while underway to Alaska in the world’s most spectacular classroom. Home Shore is a classic 62 ft. wooden commercial vessel, owned by Captain Jim Kyle, a veteran of four decades of Inside Passage travel. Training Cruises between Washington and Alaska are eight to twelve days, with nightly rest stops in villages or pristine anchorages in British Columbia.
