TAWS
The TAWS data provides the latest terrain, obstacle, runway, and magnetic variation (MagVar) information to alert you of potential danger. The TAWS database provides terrain elevation & texture, public and private non-military runways, limited obstacle data containing man-made obstructions above the terrain and a table of magnetic variation (MagVar) constants to determine magnetic declination. Jeppesen TAWS data can be integrated into the following L3 Communications system(s): Landmark 8000/8100.

Jeppesen Services Update Manager (JSUM) is a single software application that allows you to quickly and easily access data updates via the internet, while continually monitoring for notices and alerts that changes have occurred to critical data within your Jeppesen NavData coverage area(s).

Streamlined Software
In addition to simplifying access to your NavData updates, JSUM can also be used to download other MFD service updates, including our electronic IFR chart revisions. as a result, you are able to utilize a consistent interface when updating all of your Jeppesen electronic navigation services, creating a more efficient solution that saves you time, money and headaches.
