Canadian Government Charts

Overview

Canadian VFR charts include the Visual Navigation Chart (VNC) and Visual Terminal Area (VTA) chart in 1:500,000 and 1:250,000 scales, respectively. Like the Sectional chart, the VNC’s are arranged in concentric tiles across Canada and the VTA’s cover the busier airports across the country.

These charts are similar to NOS Sectional Charts. VNC Charts are printed in full color and are recommended for low and medium speed aircraft. Location of Visual Terminal Area (VTA) Charts are indicated by a • on the VFR (VNC) Charts diagram.
