Boat Smart, Update Your Charts provides information on how natural and manmade forces can change the "water's freeways" quickly and without pardon, leaving your vessel vulnerable to unforeseen dangers, and addresses the critical importance of using up-to-date charts when navigating the waterways.

The information is provided by leading experts in the boating and marine industry who make up the Alliance for Safe Navigation partnership, including Jeppesen, specializing in electronic cartography; OceanGrafix, a leader in print-on-demand paper charts; United States Power Squadrons; a non-profit organization providing safe boating classes nationwide, BoatUS (Boat Owners Association of The United States), a membership organization representing more than half a million boaters nationwide; and the Sea Tow Foundation for Boating Safety and Education, a non-profit educational wing of Sea Tow, a leading provider of marine assistance and towing nationwide.
