Prepare yourself with this ICAO compliant ATPL program to take the comprehensive United Arab Emirates' General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), or United States' Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) written exam leading to issuance of the Airline Transport Pilot license.

Course Content

In this course you will learn about the FAA/GCAA ATPL knowledge requirements, the latest advances in CNS/ATM including: RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minima), RNP-RNAV (Required Navigation Performance), ETOPS, Driftdown, Reclear, WAAS, LAAS & ADS-B, and you will also participate in five days of Threat and Error Management (CRM / Human Factors training).  Upon completion of this program, applicants will be proficient in the following subject areas: Meteorology, Aeromedical, Emergency, Security, Communications, Air Traffic Control, Navigation Principles, Navigation Systems, Instrument Approach Procedures, Charts and Airspace, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Systems, Weight and Balance, Aircraft Performance, Aircraft MEL/CDL, Regulations, Special Navigation & International Ops, Deicing and Anti-icing, Manual Flight Planning, Dispatch Resource Management, and Practical Dispatching.

Eligibility Requirements

Individuals seeking enrollment are required to hold a Commercial Multi Engine Instrument rating.  Applicants must be 19 (23 for FAA) years of age, and able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language.

Who Should Attend: If you are seeking a GCAA/FAA/ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License or wish to advance to the position of Captain or join a major Airline as First Officer, this course is designed for you.  In addition, to attend this course it is required for you to hold a Commercial Multi Engine Instrument rating and be proficient in English.

Course Length:The ATPL course consist of 330+ contact hours, with extensive home study required. The course consists of 64 class days, held seven-hours per day over 13 weeks. Please reference the current course calendar and class schedule for more detail.
