Flight Operations Management - Level 1
Overview
Learn the workflow processes and protocols of an international Airline Operations Center (AOC). Understand the basic theory of commercial aviation dispatch procedures, work rules, local and international regulations and language used in the AOC. FOM-1 is not required for FAA Dispatcher Certification, but is required for all other NAA Dispatcher Certifications.

Course Content
This course covers the history of commercial aviation; basic aerodynamics and aircraft performance; form of the earth and basic navigation; basic meteorology; standard flight planning procedures and protocols; international law; regulations; and governing agencies.
Who Should Attend
You should attend this course if you are an airline staff transferring into the AOC; current members of the AOC who wish to increase their knowledge, effectiveness and productivity; or a flight crew member that would like to have a better understanding of flight operations.

Receive a Dispatcher Certificate issued by the United States FAA, the Malaysian DCA, or the United Arab Emirates GCAA (depending upon class location). -
