Studio GUI configuration

Course Description

Audience
This course addresses developers who need to know all that is possible to modify in Studio without programming Python.

Experience of working with the graphical user interface of Studio is an advantage.

Prerequisites
The courses “Infrastructure Introduction”, “Product I”, “Rave I”

Course goals
The course enables you to customize the graphical user interface of Studio in several ways. You will become familiar with everything you can modify in Studio without programming Python. After completing the course you will for example be able to:

  • change colours and fonts
  • change the Rule Parameters form
  • change menus
  • modify existing forms
  • modify or create new file managers
  • improve the behavior of external tables in Table Editor.
  • understand CSL scripts

There are a many examples and exercises (with solutions) in this course.
In all examples and exercises a file based Crew Rostering/Pairing system with a generic rule set, flight data from OAG and faked crew data is used.
