Jeppesen Academy Commercial Aviation Training
Our goal at Jeppesen Academy is to provide high-quality, cost-efficient
training on a variety of commercial aviation subjects and products.
Dispatch Training
Jeppesen Academy offers comprehensive training courses designed to support
the Aircraft Dispatcher / Flight Operations Officer and other staff functions
found within the Airline Operations Control (AOC) environment. Courses range
from introductory courses to the Certification of Dispatchers by the
United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other National Aviation
Administrations (NAA) worldwide. Depending upon location, availability and TSA
requirements, Jeppesen Dispatch students will be provided with aircraft fixed-based
or full-flight simulator observation time. Jeppesen Academy also
offers advanced course subjects and NAA Certificate conversion courses
for experienced dispatchers.
Pilot Ground Training
Jeppesen Academy offers a wide range of pilot soft-skills training and
education programs. This training differs from aircraft-specific training,
in that it is transferable across all aircraft fleets and operational
environments. Soft-skills training enhances flight deck performance and
operational safety by developing pilots' knowledge-based decision making
capabilities.

Jeppesen Academy provides our customers with high-quality, cost-efficient training on a
variety of Jeppesen products and services, including; Charting, Electronic Flight Bag,
Flight Planning, Performance Analysis, and many other products.
Aviation English Training - ICAO Level 4
On March 5, 2003, the International Civil Aviation Organization
("ICAO") adopted amendments to ICAO Annexes 1, 6, 10 and 11
which now mandate English proficiency at ICAO Level 4 for pilots
and air traffic controllers. This new requirement is in response
to numerous accidents where a lack of English proficiency was a
contributory factor. In a continuing effort to enhance aviation
safety, Jeppesen offers Aviation English training which will
prepare trainees for ICAO mandated English tests.
